The award-winning record producer, podcaster, and DJ, Mbongeni (Oscar Mbo) Ndlovu is at the heart of every South African who appreciates his music. His girlfriend Lerato Phasha is also loved by many.

Musa Khawula, who acknowledges himself as the pope of pop culture, put up a post of Lerato on X (formerly known as Twitter) which stirred up a lot of remarks. The post had a picture of Lerato without her normal face glam, which he captioned, “Oscar Mbo’s girlfriend Lerato Phasha shows off her natural hair and her face without makeup.”

X users blasted the post with contrasting responses referring to both Oscar and Lerato. Some commented on how make-up hides a lot of who a person really is. Other users were defending Lerato and Oscar, saying Oscar chose a woman with a good heart and did not go for good looks. They were commending Lerato for embracing her natural look.

One user commented, “Makeup is a scam.”

Another user said, ” She looks older than him,” suggesting that without makeup, Lerato looks older than Oscar.
