Internet users react to fight during The Soil performance

by Limpho Nonkonyane

Internet users reacted to a lady being disruptive during the performance of the award-winning acapella group, The Soil.

In the video that has been circulating on X (previously known as Twitter), a lady who is suspected to be under the influence starts becoming disruptive, which later leads to her fighting with multiple people, as they want her to keep quiet.

This concert was held at a marketplace where families come together with the children to enjoy good food and music while sitting on the grass. As the families enjoyed their time, the lady decided to be the centre of attention.

X users shared their thoughts on this lady’s disruptive behaviour, with some feeling like it was unnecessary and inappropriate to want to start fights whilst children are present.

With many creators sharing their versions of the video, one creator posted it from her angle.

She even fell on me and I was sitting with my six year old? while The Soil were performing “Sedi laka”. This almost ruined the concert for us. All because she didn’t want to sit down and continued blocking the view for the people sitting at the back pic.twitter.com/F51c59zxsd

The creator explains what occurred that day saying that the lady’s friends were telling her to stop.

It was over such a silly thing. I was sitting next to a friend who recorded the video. Whole video is long and unfortunate because she went in again even after her friends pleaded with her to stop.

Commenting on the woman’s alcohol consumption one user said:

People really need to take it easy on the alcohol hey.
