Often seen as a controversial figure, the outspoken activist Ntsiki Mazwai had many social media users siding against her after she provided her opinion on the matter of young girls’ schoolwear.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), a user of the app, with the handle @BokamosoMc, shared a video of two school girls dancing on a table, presumably in their class. The students were wearing their school uniform which prompted the following question from the X user:

“ADULTS DISCUSSION… Would you allow your child to dress like this for school?”

Resharing the post that received over 3 million views, Ntsiki responded, “If we were not such perverts, our babies could enjoy their beautiful, young bodies in peace.”

Ntsiki’s post garnered much response from other internet users who did not agree with her stance.

One user wrote, “Enjoy their beautiful, young bodies by walking half-naked like bottle girls in clubs (where it’s full of perverts)? People dress up because there are perverts? I am failing to understand what you’re trying to say, maybe it’s English that is dribbling me.”

“No wonder kids aren’t looking up to you as their role model,” shared one person.

While another user stated, “By design, humans are this way, men and women. That’s one thing people need to understand. Human nature comes first and reasoning after. To expect everyone to reason the same is unreal because not everyone reasons with the same capacity. That’s the reality.”
