An uproar ensued on the socials after multi-award-winning singer and pianist, Latoya Nontokozo Buthelezi popularly known as Toya Delazy referred to rapper Cassper Nyovest as a ‘kid’ on X (formerly Twitter).

This is after an X user announced that My City by Toya Delazy which was released in 2014 and featured Cassper Nyovest; born as Refiloe Maele Phoolo was still a jam.

Shocking everyone, the artist replied: “Lol no lie, I wish I didn’t collab with that kid. I can’t listen to it.”

Not apologetic about her statement, the Pump It On singer went on and said, “Waste of a good song. I could have got AKA, but I was young and I wasn’t thinking. I should have followed Sony’s direction with this one, my heart was too big and I gave a chance to a vile person. But I’m glad you dig it,” said Toya replying to an X user.
