An episode that included a steamy intimate shower scene on Showmax’s Adulting season two between Thembi Seete, who plays the character Portia, and Luthando BU Mthembu, who plays Vuyani, shocked many, sparking mixed reactions from social media users.

Thembi joined the new season of the Adulting to play the character of Portia, a rich housewife who is a lover of finer things. Recently opening up about the intimate scene to news publication Sunday World, the mother of one shared that the scene was the most intimate she has ever portrayed.

“My intimate scenes have never been this intimate. It really felt like it was my first time acting, and that’s the beauty about acting,” commented the Boom Shaka group member.

Thembi also shared with the publication that she agreed to play the role which is a bit different from the roles she’s played before, to fulfil her dream of working with Tshedza Pictures.
