Internet reacts to Matthews Rantsoma leaving Scandal!

Actor Mathews Rantsoma received his flowers while he could still smell them from the internet users, following his last scene on etv’s Scandal! as he bid the show farewell.

After joining the show in 2021 as Nhlamulo Maseko playing alongside Nomvelo Makhanya who portrayed the character of Lindiwe Ngema, the thespian has been a fan-favourite ever since.

After Nhlamulo’s death on the show, X (formerly Twitter) users took to their timelines to honour Mathews for his portrayal of Nhlamulo.

Mathews also took to his Instagram page to cherish the memories he created at Scandal! his caption said: “Words fail me… emotions are galore. Memories will always be a part of me. Most of all.. the love I have for this thing we do, it’s not one that will die soon.”

He continued and showed gratitude to everyone who supported his character on Scandal!

“I’m forever grateful for this gift you guys gave me. Even when it was difficult to play the character, you were there. Mostly in the characters most happiest moments, you were there. I won’t forget you, I won’t forget that. I love you all, and thank you for everything.” he said.
