Internet reacts to DJ Shimza’s expensive watch and designer outfit

DJ Shimza, born Ashley Raphala, is trending after being spotted wearing a rare and expensive Rolex Datejust 41, which has a base price of R260,000.

The photo, posted on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), has garnered thousands of comments and reactions.

DJ Shimza, one of Africa’s top DJs, is known for his luxurious lifestyle, including high-end brands and exotic cars.

In the viral photo, he also wore a designer shirt worth R16,300 and a Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet worth R136,934, prompting mixed reactions on social media about the authenticity and his fashion sense.

According to The South African, DJ Shimza’s wealth is supported by an impressive business portfolio:

  1. Trucking Company: Lekganyo, established in 2021.
  2. Marketing Agency: Just Exist.
  3. Restaurant and Car Wash: The Hang Awt and Hang Awt Car Wash.
  4. Record Label: Kunye, established in 2020 to promote talent internationally.

He joins other celebrities like Roger Federer, Justin Bieber, Kourtney Kardashian, Jennifer Garner, and David Beckham, who also own Rolex Datejust watches.
