South African DJ and record producer Mthokozisi Khathi professionally known as DJ Tira finds himself in the good books of mzansi after being applauded for putting new artists in the industry without stealing from them.

This comes after an upcoming artist, Shebeshxt opened up in an interview about DJ Maphorisa not providing him with split sheets when they were recording his song Twerka.

“They also did not tell me when the song will be released, I saw it on the internet,” added Shebeshxt.

With the backlash against DJ Maphorisa happening on X, an app formerly known as Twitter, a controversial X user @ChrisExcel saw this as an opportunity to appreciate DJ Tira.

While posting a picture of DJ Tira, they wrote, “Appreciation post to this man. Makoya works with upcoming artists and guides them. Not even a single artist came forward crying about their money…. This brother deserves his flowers while he can still smell them.”

In the comment section, Chris Excel added the artists DJ Tira worked with such as Dladla Mshunqisi and Duncan.

A lot of other X users took to the comment section to agree:

It was refreshing when I heard Naak Music, talking about how Tira came through for him just when Mfundi Vundla was about to fire them?
To prove he made & did not waste money while at Afro, he bought a house next to Tira’s house.
Dankie Bearing??
