Mzansi! Just when you thought Inimba couldn’t get any hotter! The telenovela that’s had the streets buzzing is stirring more spice into the pot with a massive Season 1 extension of 90 more episodes, set to kick off from the 13th of October 2025.

Since the Mzansi Magic telenovela premiered, fans have taken to social media to express their appreciation for Inimba for serving the drama with an incredible cast at play. Picking up from a new revelation about Zoleka’s (played by Lunathi Mampofu) future that might shake things up, the storyline is about to get even juicier and the stakes even higher.

The season extension is not only about having more episodes, but there are new faces joining the cast. Sandile Mahlangu joins as Onga, a smooth operator with charm for days, who is going to rattle egos at Khusela Tech as he sets his eyes on someone special. Samkelo Ndlovu, who is known for screen-commanding roles, will play Lillian Gumede, a bold and mysterious new arrival coming in to get what’s owed to her.

Also making a dramatic debut into the story is Luzuko Nkqeto who comes in as Zwelinzima Ngcukana, Lazarus’ rather strict father and Tina Jaxa as Nomfundiso Ngcukana, Lazarus’ aunt. The extended episodes kick off from the 13th of October and will continue to take a deeper dive into the lives of your favourite characters as their stories evolve.
