As temperatures continue to drop in various parts of the country as the annual winter season fully sets in, remaining warm in the comfort of your home appears to be the main goal for many South Africans.

Over the last few weeks, there have been several reports of flooding in places like Cape Town as well as the Eastern Cape as a result of continuous rain that has caused hundreds of residents in Mthatha to be displaced. Not forgetting about the risks you take when driving on the wet, slippery tar roads on the highway.

Online blogger Tina Talks notes that staying indoors when it’s wet and cold outside not only ensures our physical safety but also ensures that we remain healthy.

“Staying indoors when rain pours is safe and ideal for those who have young kids. This is to protect them from all sorts of viruses roaming around during the wet season and from all those insects, plus mosquitoes that bite. It’s also a must to take care of ourselves so we don’t get sick and spread the unwanted virus around,” mentioned the above-mentioned source.

While this may cause you to miss out on experiencing all that the outdoors has to offer, fortunately, you don’t have to go through your weekend suffering from boredom. Movie streaming platforms like Netflix and several others have a wealth of films to keep you and your family entertained.

Here is a list of some films you might enjoy:

K-pop Demon Hunters
