Actress Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa recently celebrated being officially divorced from the father of her children, Nkosinathi Maphumulo (popularly known as Black Coffee), after a dragging battle in court.
The pair had their traditional wedding ceremony in 2011 and later had a white wedding ceremony on 9 January 2017 at the Sun City Resort in the North West. They later announced their separation and divorce in November 2019.
Enhle took to her Instagram page to share her gratitude to the people who showed her support during her divorce battles in court.
“I am so thankful to the people you see in this image. These lawyers, advocates and senior attorneys have pushed me and reminded me of the greatness I had in me, reminded me how important it was to fight, most importantly for my children and more so for the rights of women in South Africa.
“Thank you to Jerry Nkeli who is now my father since my father is no more. This man fought for me as if I was his blood daughter, and I will forever be grateful, I will never forget sis Ntombi, who was part of the team. She saw me from a timid girl who was fearful, to a woman who was ready to fight for what was right. Tebogo who is now my new little sister smartest and most humble in the room.
“The greatest advocate in the country stands above me, who taught me even when fighting, humility is of utmost importance and respect is the order of the day. Jerry Nkeli Law is one amazing law firm. I would like to thank my mother who took on this journey on her shoulders as if it were her own, she felt every emotion I felt more intensely as I refused to sink myself back into depression. She held space. Thank you mom Bongi Mlotshwa. My sister Kutlwano Kutty Molete, who even after her operation was in court with me holding my hand when I was holding back tears, my elevator sister, always ready to fight for me and ask questions later. I love you and I thank dad that he brought you onto this earth. Your soul is beautiful and thank you for sharing,” she penned.
Enhle’s divorce was public knowledge on social media, as she used the various online platforms to vent about how drained she is from fighting. She displayed strong woman qualities, and her followers were besides her cheering for her and supporting her.
Now, the former Blood Psalms actress shared the great news that she is officially Miss Mlotshwa.
“Today with great emotion I write this. I am officially Miss Mlotshwa. I’m so grateful for this ugly journey that gave me so many lessons. Today God has laid a table for me,” she said.
