Ikho: If objects could talk hilarious skits

by Ncumisa Lerato Kunana

Content creator and entertainer, Ikho has cemented himself as one of our favourite skit makers. His range is impeccable and he always delivers content that will leave you in stitches. What makes her videos fan favorites is the level of relatability in them, especially for black South Africans.

Many of his videos take us back to our childhoods as he depicts our mothers as if he lived in the same houses as us. Others will remind you of that unforgettable encounter you had a with a public servant and they read you for filth. He tries to tackle issues that many black South Africans can relate to based on how similar our upbringing were.

If you watch closely, even though it is funny, there is always a lesson to be learnt.

His latest installment of funny is no different. He has started a series called: If objects could talk.

In the series, everyday objects are able to voice their thoughts to their users and it is hilarious. In the first video, a girl is anxiously taking a pregnancy test and the pregnancy test is reading her for filth. From, “Ziyakhala kemanje, to Nkare nka loma fertility.”

In the second video, Ikho is in the bathroom taking what seems to be a bath but in the sink. The soap breaks out and says, “side eye, when was the last time you touched?”, in comes the toilet with a sharp, ” Ask him again, its been a week since he touched me!” The shower head, toothbrush and skincare products enter the chat and finish him off.
