Media personality Tebogo Thekisho better known as Proverb has opened up about how Idols SA changed his life for the better.

The TV personality is not only the host of the show but he is also the co-producer.

Idols SA has aired for 18 seasons and it is coming to an end this year as the final season is currently airing.

Speaking to the Daily Sun, Proverb revealed that the show really changed his life, and he is not sad about it coming to an end as the show brought many opportunities for him.

“The show has really changed my life, man. I came here as an unemployed rapper barely scratching the surface and I leave the show as the co-executive producer, a successful host, co-producer of Idols Nigeria, a published author and more,” he said.

Taking to Instagram, he shared pictured of himself doing what he does best on the Idols stage and said, “Only way you’re going to be fulfilled is when you gave it everything you had.”

Many took to the comments section and applauded him for a job well done throughout the seasons. This is what some of them had to say:

“You always give it your all. I wonder how you do it. I came to the show feeling down and out, but the moment you entered the auditorium, hey, we were all happy and screaming. I guess it was the moment I screamed everything out because when I left I was feeling so light. You are such a fresh breath Uncle Verb.”

“You never disappointed❤️? you did a great job.”
