‘Queen’ Sophie Ndaba has been sharing her testimony on how God restored her back to her old self after suffering from depression while living with diabetes.

The former Generations actress sat down with Zanele Mbokazi on her Ukhozi FM show to bare it all, in testimony of God’s amazing restoration.

Bearing it all, Sophie shared information on how she got to live in an orphanage while she had a family, loosing businesses, cars and asserts. She also expressed how diabetes and depression led to her weight dropping from 89kg’s to 42kg’s.

Speaking to Zanele Sophie about a time when many had deemed her dead, Sophie shared that she went from wearing size 36/38 to fitting in the 13 to 14 years kids’ section.

“I went into depression before my skinny pictures started trending, without even realising that I had lost weight. I didn’t work for three years; my kids were fed by family and friends,” she shared.

Sophie also mentioned how she also suffered from stroke while sitting outside her house one day, adding that her son Lwandle had to carry her into the house.

He then continued nursing her with guidance from their nursing friends until she became better.
