Zimbabwean-born and bred TikTok user @billionairetinashe has quickly captivated mzansi’s attention as humorous videos of his attempt at learning isiZulu for his girlfriend continue to make waves across social media platforms.

TikTok user who goes by the name of Tinashe has proven to South Africa and the rest of the world that indeed, love knows no bounds, as his mission to perfect his understanding and articulation of the isiZulu language in order to better connect with his partner has taken social media by storm. Like many other social media users before him, Tinashe has unofficially submitted his application to become a valued member of the ‘honorary Zulus’ club, as it is the culture and heritage of the love of his life.

This mission does not come as a shock to many South Africans, as members of the Zulu culture have garnered a reputation for the immense pride they have in their culture and language. This has appeared to encourage other tribes and cultures to take an interest in learning the isiZulu language, as its people have proven relentless in expressing their pride via the language, music and clothes, which have deep, historical context.

When it comes to Tinashe, his determination to become fluent in his partner’s language captured mzansi’s, and his comedic delivery has kept his engagements busy. Ironically, his content has garnered more attention from female social media users, who have not hesitated to let him know how handsome they find him in the comments section.

In one of his videos, Tinashe addresses these women, revealing that he is dedicated and loyal to his girlfriend and is not interested in engaging in any intimate or sexual activities with the ladies in his comments section.
