Evicted Big Brother Mzansi cast member, Nokulunga Gugu Ndabezitha has expressed her gratitude for the experience and the opportunity of participating on the reality show.

Hailing from Soweto in Johannesburg, Gugu who was nominated alongside Nsuku, Philile, Uyanda, and Mata, was axed due to not receiving enough votes to keep her in the house.

Entering the house, Gugu promised to bring spice by pretending to be older and being a villain to everyone.

Recently the 34-year-old prophet took to her Instagram page to share that this was not the first time she auditioned for the show. She revealed that she started auditioning to enter the house while she was in her teen years without success, and has received her first yes 20 years later.

From this experience, Gugu sees herself as the epitome of resilience. “If there’s a definition of ‘never give up’, it’s me. Big Brother Africa was also one of the platforms I tried out for, four times. This time, Big Brother Mzansi said yes, we see something in you,” she penned.

Gugu who is passionate about creating looks for funeral homes, writing stories, being a corporate bulldozer, and restaurant hopping. She was first introduced to mzansi a month ago, she also made her mark on the socials with her prophetic gift.

“I may have only spent one month in the house but I’m genuinely grateful for the opportunity and the fact that God truly sees me. I meant what I said when I mentioned that last year was my rock bottom. However, on my way to hitting rock bottom, I found a trampoline. I jumped so high and I will continue to soar higher. I thought it was the end when I was evicted but it is genuinely not the end. I hope God has more for me,” she revealed.

Gugu also shared that she wishes to be an inspiration to many and that they learn it is never too late to start.

“I hope you learn from me, that no matter how old you are, no matter how ‘late it is’, no matter how tough life has been, and no matter how many no’s you receive, God’s time will always be perfect. 20 Years later, I received my first yes in the entertainment industry and you know what, I tried. Even though I couldn’t do half the tasks because of my ‘crooked leg’ as some would call it, I pushed myself, I fought and I’m proud of myself,” she revealed.
