Condolences are still pouring in for the late Oscar-winning thespian, Presley Chweneyagae, following his sudden death.

Mzansi and the industry at large are still trying to wrap their heads around the ordeal. Presley, who passed away at the age of 40 in his home, after he struggled to breathe, played the unforgettable character of Thuso ‘Cobra’ Mokoena on the multi-award-winning telenovela, The River. Cobra was known as a troubled, angry man who loved his beer, women and his black barrette.

The character was well-played to the point that Presley was mostly referred to as Cobra. As Mzansi remembers him and the legacy he left behind, here are five funny moments of Cobra, also known as Mokwepa.

Presley’s funeral service will be held at Akasia Hall, and he will be laid to rest on June 7 at Zandfontein Cemetery, Pretoria.
