by Silindokuhle Booi

South African socialite and businesswoman, Gogo Skhotheni (born as Ntombifuthi Dlamini) is set to lead a prayer session in Johannesburg.

The new DJ gained popularity through her appearances on the reality TV show Isibaya and later on The Gogo Show alongside other socialites like Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize. Gogo Skhotheni has ventured into various business endeavors, including selling traditional attire and hosting events. Her personal life, including her relationships and spirituality, has also been a subject of interest among her fans.

Like many public figures, Gogo Skhotheni has been involved in controversies and feuds, particularly with other socialites and TV personalities. These disputes often play out on social media, drawing significant attention from her fans and the public.

Gogo Skhotheni’s rise to fame has inspired many young South Africans to pursue careers in entertainment and entrepreneurship. Her outspoken personality and business acumen have made her a respected figure in South African popular culture.

Recently, she announced that she has resigned from being a sangoma and she is choosing Christianity. This sparked debate on social media platforms with some people wondering how is that possible.

She shocked fans by being a guest at a prayer session that will be held in Johannesburg with Tumi Motsoeneneg as shared on X (formerly Twitter) by MDN News.

Is it not too soon to lead already? Why not sit down and learn from others just like everyone else?
