While most people who reach a certain level of financial success forget those who supported their come-up, rap superstar Cassper Nyovest proved that he is not that guy.

The Billiato businessman took to Instagram to share a video montage made by his long-time bestie, Solomon ‘Carpo’ More. The video shows a few pictures of Cassper and Carpo over the years.

Cassper captioned his post, “God sent me an angel @carpomore. I love you ma G. Thank you for choosing to ride this thing with me till the wheels fall off. Thank you for always being there for me no matter what. I can confidently say I have someone to count on. Thank you for creating this video too and sending it to me. I appreciate it.”

Carpo wrote in response, “Aah my bro dankie my bro ?? keo rata blind my brother kaofela forever. God bless you king ? ❤️.”

Although the pair have a deep bond, Cassper once mentioned on L-Tido’s podcast that his latest album Solomon was, in fact, not named after Carpo.

“Carpo’s name is Solomon, but it wasn’t really named after Solomon [Carpo]. It was named after the story of King Solomon, but it was also nice that, you know, he [Carpo] could have that moment,” explained Cassper.

Nevertheless, Cassper and Carpo remain supportive of one another.

To celebrate his friend’s Johannesburg leg of the African Throne tour with rapper Nasty C, Carpo wrote on Instagram, “This Saturday we celebrate two wins, @africanthrone and @bokrugby, we are not missing the finals re dah. Get your tickets now before it’s too late a reyeng Mzansi.”
