South African musician Mzwakhe Mbuli Jr., better known as Robot Boii, was among many local and international artists at this year’s Trace Awards who walked away with an accolade.

The Trace Awards – an awards ceremony hosted by the global TV and multimedia platform Trace – took place on Saturday, 21 October in Kigali, Rwanda, and recognised African and Afro-influenced musicians.

Robot Boii was recognised as the Best Dancer and shared a snap of his award on social media, simply captioning his post, “God did.”

Dear ??…Amapiano to the world!

Also well done to @Springboks ?
