SABC1’s Generations: The Legacy, one of Mzansi’s longest-running soapies will be joined by three new dynamic faces.

The show seeking to fulfil its promise of a hot season 34 filled with drama, action and suspense that will have viewers glued on their screens while hungry for more, has cast the emerging talent Athie Cwele known for the characters he played on Icala and Ha Molefi.

Speaking to Briefly News, SABC PR Specialist, Caroline Phalakatshela shared some spoilers on the new characters. She said: “Athie Cwele will play the character of Kamogelo Moroka, Kea’s son who is studying Digital Marketing and software engineering. He plans to start his own business when he finishes his studies.”

On the TVSA website, when asked about this casting he said: “There are no words that suffice to express how it feels being on a show as big as Generations. But above and beyond anything, it is a blessing to me, and I am grateful for the opportunity.”

Another addition is Sicelo Mabaso who’s character is described as a charmer and a hustler who is full of charisma. Samkelo is also a street-smart character who hustles like nobody’s business. He is a chameleon who can adapt to different environments.

Another new kid on the block joining the veteran show is Vuyolwethu Matiwane, who will portray the character of Lulama, a young woman from East London.

As the trio joins, Mpho J Molepo who played Kabisi Moroka and Nicholas Nkuna who was Anathi Mpofu will make their final appearances on the show in March.
