Amapiano artist Paballo Basetsana Mothapo, popularly known as Pabi Cooper or Cooper Pabi recently celebrated her birthday.

Pabi Cooper first made a name for herself in the South African music industry with her hit single “Isiphithiphithi”, which was released in 2021. The song features popular artists Joocy and Reece Mandlisa and was produced by Busta 929. The hit single gained massive popularity with 6.4 million views on YouTube within 6 months and achieved platinum status.

Since the release of the track, Pabi Cooper’s career has taken off, with her unique style and impressive vocals earning her a growing fan base. She is considered to be one of the rising stars of the South African music scene and is expected to continue making waves in the industry in the coming years.

In celebration of her 23rd birthday, Pabi posted pictures on Instagram where she did a photoshoot wearing a black dress and paired it with black shades. She captioned the post,”+1 HAPPY BIRTHDAY PABI, JORDAN YEAR, THANK YOU GOD,” adding emojis.

Pabi refers to her birthday as the Jordan year which is the year someone turns 23, which has been popularised by Michael Jordan’s basketball jersey number.
