The popular phrase, “I was today years old,” appeared frequently when actress, Gaisang Noge, revealed that her father is the iconic Dosto Noge when she penned a heart-warming birthday wish.

Former The Wife actress took to her Instagram page to send well wishes to her father on his birthday. Some were left reeling in shock at the reveal, leading to them gushing over Dosto’s timeless work on Selimathunzi back in the day.

With Father’s Day approaching, Gaisang will get to celebrate her father twice this month. In a candid post, House of Zwide actress jokingly hinted that her dad was the IT boy of the 90s, while sharing that she inherited her love for soccer and music taste from him.

To her first love, she wrote: “Happy birthday to the sweetest, most gentle man emhlabeni (in the world), your favourite 90s it boy, the man that gave me Jesus, Kaizer Chiefs and Michael Jackson, and to the man who loved me first.

“Also in life, there are handsome men and then there’s my dad, oh to be your girl child and to be loved by you was and still is such an honour. I love you, Toto,” she penned.
