Alex Iwobi has become a crucial player for Fulham under Marco Silva, establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most reliable midfielders, writes DYLAN JOHNSON.

Writing for Soccermag, Johnson explains how Iwobi has exceeded expectations, evolving into a key figure many didn’t foresee after leaving Arsenal in 2019. After a standout 100+ games at Everton, the 28-year-old midfielder moved to Fulham, where he has thrived.

The Cottagers are currently 8th in the Premier League, pushing for their best-ever finish. Iwobi has already surpassed his career-best goal tally, contributing 11 goals and assists this season, while also impressing with his passing, tackles, and work rate.

Now fully settled in midfield, his confidence, vision, and decision-making have grown. With Fulham eyeing European football and Nigeria preparing for the 2025 AFCON, Iwobi is enjoying the best form of his career when it matters most.
