From ‘hobo’ looking to crispy clean, Internet reacts to Tito’s transformation

The former minister of finance Tito Mboweni recently received applause from thousands of X (formerly Twitter) followers after his recent transformation over the weekend.

Last week the finance guru left many of his followers concerned after a picture started circulating the internet showing the 65-year-old posing for a picture at the airport looking rather scruffy.

Look who I stuck with at Polokwane airport? Professor Hlengani Mathebula. Fight delayed by over 3 hours!’ pic.twitter.com/X71tQgGSdK

Taking to the comment section one user commented: “Tito, you’re a millionaire bro! Start dressing like one!”

While another asked the question: “Tito Titus Mboweni is this a cry for help? Should we be concerned as a nation? Are you okay?”

It appears that Tito has finally heard the concern of his much-loved followers. This past weekend the avid foodie took to X once again, this time, revealing how much of a glow-up he had since his previous post.

In his latest post, his appearance was restored to its former glory as he confidently displayed a crispy clean chiskop (bald head) haircut that he got from one of South Africa’s award-winning and leading barbershops – Legends Barber in Rosebank Johannesburg.

In the caption, he wrote:

“The People have spoken.”

This gained the approval of many followers as he later received the nod.

“Now you look like a rich uncle,” one user commented, while the rest cautioned others to hide their girlfriends since Tito is now looking “fresh.”

Others meanwhile provided advice for the next thing he needed to work on.
