Former Rhythm City actress Itumeleng Bokaba joins Spy Makhelwane cast

South African host and actress Itumeleng Bokaba known for her character Mampho in the e.tv soap Rhythm City, has secured another acting role.

Itumeleng announced her involvement in the upcoming series Spy Makhelwane on Instagram and captioned the post, “Coming soon #spymakhelwane.”

She disclosed who the rest of the cast members were, and that she will be playing the character of Relebohile who is married to Sihle.

According to the video that she shared, the characters’ relationship involves always showing affection and love in public. However, their neighbor Gogo Sophie proves to interfere in other people’s business and frequently spies on the couple’s affairs. This interference doesn’t sit well with Baba Mthembu, Gogo Sophie’s husband, who disapproves of her constant meddling.

Spy Makhelwane is scheduled to premiere on Mzansi Magic on 11 May 2024 at 20:30.

According to Soapie Celebs, Itumeleng began her television career at the age of four. At six, she participated in the Miss Tinkerbelle Pageant. By the age of eight, she started working as a presenter on Yo.tv, co-hosting shows like Yo.tv Land alongside Musa Mthombeni, as well as other programs such as Blue Couch, The Chilling Show, and Gimme the Mic.

In addition to her roles, she also appeared in shows like The Wife and uBettina Wethu.
