Xolani Khumalo returns with operation Slyza Tsotsi

by Samantha Mochele

Former Moja love host Sizok’thola Xolani Khumalo is again making headlines with his latest venture, Operation Slyza Tsotsi. Known for his bold approach and dedication to tackling social issues, Xolani brings a fresh perspective with this newest project.

Xolani first gained recognition with Sizok’thola, a show renowned for its fearless approach to exposing drug dealers and addressing drug abuse.

In a previous discussion with DJ Sbu on The Hustlers Corner SA Podcast, Xolani shared details about his collaborative efforts with the government, SAPS, and other law enforcement officials. He emphasised that Operation Slyza Tsotsi involves working closely with these officials as part of a broader foundation aimed at cleaning the streets of drugs.

According to Daily Sun, Operation Slyza Tsotsi, focused on cracking down on the drug trade in South Africa, the show is set to premiere on the 7 September at 8:30 PM on channel 120 on StarSat.

This information was confirmed by Xolani’s spokesperson, Bokani Moyo, to the publication. The show aims to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse, provide support to addicts and end the drug trade. Each episode will start with an interview with a drug addict to highlight the severe consequences of addiction and will also include discussions with family members affected by the actions of addicts seeking money for drugs.

Bokani further told the mentioned publication that after rehabilitation, Xolani will arrange for addicts to receive free training from StarSat to become sales staff and satellite dish installers.
