Along with his fellow comrades, Mbalula has found himself on the receiving end of some damning allegations of crime by the infamous Brown Mogotsi. The ANC Secretary General (SG) has threatened legal recourse in response.
The recent episode of ‘interesting things are happening in South Africa’ brought about some interesting talking points for citizens to debrief over, including the start to the highly anticipated ad-hoc committee proceedings which initially saw a delay due to procedural issues.
Brown Mogotsi, who is among the many who have been called to testify before the committee after being implicated by General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, seems to have unexpectedly captured the public’s attention as they zoom in on the allegations made by the alleged criminal.
Talking to SABC, Mogotsi not only set the record straight regarding his ANC membership, which he claims is active, but he also made an array of allegations against the ANC’s SG and his wife, including linking him to the controversial convicted criminal Vusi Khekhe.
Furthemore, Mogotsi went on to allege that Mbalula’s had received R1 million from businessman Wandile Boswana, which he was to pay back two days before his unexpected murder.
Brown Mogotsi:
I am an ANC member in good standing, my membership expires at the end of October

In response, Mbalula has revealed that his legal team was already on top of the matter, planning their next moves to deal with Mogotsi, whom he labelled as a thug. The SG not only refuted these claims, but labelled them as defamatory and harmful to his reputation.
