Fighters remember Malema recommending Mkhwanazi for National Police Commissioner

by Nomonde Simelane

Some members of Julius Malema’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) cannot help but remember when their leader publicly expressed his support for Mkhwanazi as he recommended him for the National Police Commissioner role.

Mkhwanazi has quickly become the talk of the town, as South Africans far and wide have hailed him for his consistent effort in fighting against crime in KZN and the county at large. His recent move where he shared damning allegations at a press briefing, implicating Police Minister Senzo Mchunu and some other high-ranking officials, has taken the country by storm. It has also garnered him even more support than before.

As a result, citizens from across the country have rallied behind the top cop, as they believe that his life may be in danger after making serious accusations against some powerful individuals. There have been various peaceful protests held in support of Mkhwanazi, with the momentum for more to come continuing to get stronger by the day. Organisations such as Action SA are leading the charge.

Amid all of this, some of Malema’s supporters have come out to hail their leader for his vision and forward thinking. They reminisce of a time when their leader recommended the now-popular General as the front-running candidate to take up the National Police Commissioner position way before he became as popular as he is today.

Recently, EFF’s Commander-in-Chief doubled down on his support for the Lieutenant. He also urged his supporters to continue doing the same, as the country is in desperate need of more law enforcement officials like him who are not only dedicated to serving the people of South Africa, but fighting for and protecting their rights.

Some social media users have echoed the CIC’s sentiments, revealing that they too believe that Mkhwanazi should be appointed as the next National Police Commissioner. They also expressed that he should be given as much support as is necessary to combat crime in South Africa.

I think it is high time we agree with Julius Malema on this one.
