Gqom star Babes Wodumo, real name Bongekile Simelane has been advised by fans to consider making a change in her management.

This follows a recent post by Durban music promoter Dogg Dbn on Facebook where he asked his followers, “I wanna know from you, what would it take for Babes Wodumo to make a major comeback? Look at this from a business perspective.”

Following this post, many online users are suggesting that Babes Wodumo consider finding a new manager and part ways with her sister, who currently oversees her career. They believe this change could help her revive her music career and regain her former success. Fans are hopeful that a fresh management approach might bring new opportunities for the star.

One user commented, “Isistera (Sister) needs to be professional nje kuqala(first of all). Having your friend/relative/partner as a manager doesn’t usually work out. She has faced numerous setbacks lately because of this, and it’s clear she needs to understand that she should move her sister out of her management team. A good PR team is crucial.”

Another user added, “Babes Wodumo’s comeback depends on her ability to create and share music and content that resonates with both old and new fans. No re-introduction needed.”

Another user wrote: “Dogg Dbn babes will always be good but the problems is she need to get new writers to keep her more alive cause her appearance, vocals delivery, performance it’s on top she will also be relevant….. She’s fire trust me.”

However according to DailySun, Nondumiso, Babes Wodumo’s sister, dismissed fans’ suggestions to find a new manager, stating it’s just their opinion and she is committed to supporting her sister.
