After causing some speculation regarding who would be Jose Riveiro, Soweto giants Orlando Pirates have revealed that although they will not be returning the mad scientist Rulani Mokwena, they opted for someone who bears an uncanny resemblance to him.

Shortly after pulling off one of the more impressive coaching performances South Africa has seen in some time, coach Jose announced that he would not be renewing his contract with Orlando Pirates when it comes to an end in May. The news came as a shock to the team’s large fanbase, who had grown accustomed to Jose’s tactics, and had welcomed him as a valued part of the club.

Furthermore, the news came as a shock following the successful season the Soweto giants had managed to pull off during the season, which resulted in finishing right behind the dominant Mamelodi Sundowns in the Betway Premier League, securing a CAF Champions League spot, as well as snatching the MTN 8 Cup.

After Jose’s departure, chatter of who would be filling his big shoes quickly took over social media, as fans speculated about various potential candidates. Speculation of the return of the mad scientist coach Rulani started making waves, as fans revealed belief that he was among contention.

In an interesting turn of events, the Soweto giants have announced their new head coach, sending shock waves across the country as they name an unexpected candidate. Taking to social media, Orlando Pirates have named Moroccan legend Abdeslam Ouaddou as their new leading man.
