The latest episode of Faith Nketsi’s Have Faith aired showcasing her wedding and tweeps had a lot to say about it.

In the episode you can see Faith’s mother emotional after the lobola negotiations have been finalised. She details how triggering it is to see Faith’s father after suffering from his abuse for many years.

‘We worked very well, people have left, in this bedroom I am with the father of my  child. I am also with Mapholoso[faith] and her aunt. This thing hurts me a lot because her father used to abuse me. Right now he is keeping the lobola money for himself.’  she said.

Twitter did not react very well to that, with one user goes by @SReloaded saying ‘Faith’s Dad is an OPPORTUNIST honestly Faith’s mom is an even bigger person than me’

Being a black woman is hard! You raise a child alone then the father comes and take all the lobola money?? #havefaith

— Mrs Kholo (@LadyK0122) September 5, 2022

Mothers raise their children alone and the dad who isn’t present in their lives comes and wants to claim the lobola money because ke culture, this is so wrong #MTVHaveFaith #HaveFaith

Twitter also reacted to how no one had been helping Faith except for the  domestic helper, some saying she deserved it and others citing that a pregnant woman needed assistance.

Nothing against Faith but Kim went through her pregnancy and her friends were not around. Equally with her cousins, it has been mentioned that she is never around. Now we all know she is a busy woman but let’s not crucify the people around her for giving same energy. #havefaith

I am happy for Faith but, she did not support Kim last year, or Andzelo and we don’t know if the rest so why would people show up for her? #HaveFaith
