Moshidi Motshegwa is a powerhouse when it comes to playing intense, villainous roles. Her portrayal of Naomi in Rhythm City was so compelling that it left viewers in awe of her talent.
According to The South African, Moshidi shared with TshisaLIVE that Naomi was a role “bigger than her,” requiring immense energy. Fans were captivated by Naomi’s loud, psychotic, and humorous nature, as well as her dramatic antics and obsession with Miles Vilakazi, played by Peter Sephuma. Naomi’s dangerous and manipulative behaviour, including kidnapping a baby, made her a memorable character.
Zolisa Xaluva’s portrayal of Diamond Mabuza in The Queen had viewers on the edge of their seats. His character was complex, dangerous, and unpredictable.
