Enhle Mbali opens up on relationship with Black Coffee

While the Grammy Award-winning DJ Black Coffee and his Venezuelan beauty Victoria Gonzalez keep on topping the headlines, his ex-wife Enhle Mbali has now detailed her own experiences dealing with their breakup. 

The former couple, who are known to share two children after tying the knot at a traditional wedding in 2011, were once included in the list of being among one of South Africa’s most loved celebrity couples. However, their fairy tale soon came to an end when they announced their divorce, with the renowned actress later accusing her ex-husband of infidelity. 

Recently, Enhle appeared in an interview on Radio 702 where she opened up about how she has had to deal with some of the hurt she experienced during this ordeal. 

She explained that after being cheated on, she found herself losing lots of respect towards the father of her children, but emphasised that she later came to a point of forgiveness, even though this was never something he apologised for. 

“I’m proud of how I handled my marriage. I never cheated, not once, until the day I decided to leave because I could no longer take the punishment to myself. It’s multi-layered. But my non-negotiable was children in a marriage. Once there were two children by two different women, I said, ‘You don’t love me.’ In fact, you’re going to kill me,” she revealed. 

While there has recently been much speculation on whether the DJ had cheated on her with Victoria, following a recent timeline of a post which was shared by the model, Enhle has since encouraged their supporters not to choose sides. 

“I don’t want people to take sides […] I might not have a lot of respect for Nkosinathi Maphumulo, but Black Coffee — that man is talented. He’s extremely talented. And Enhle Mbali is out-of-this-world talented. So I want people to be able to separate the two.”
