Emtee involved in yet another car accident

by Samantha Mochele

South African rapper Emtee, born Mthembeni Ndevu, is making headlines once again following his involvement in a late-night car crash at The Precinct Luxury Apartments.

Emtee has long been known for his musical talent and his series of car crashes, frequently landing him in the news. While details leading to the crash are still unknown this event adds to the rapper’s concerning history with vehicular accidents, raising questions about his safety and well-being.

In a now-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), seen by sahiphopmag Emtee acknowledged the situation, writing, “Jus got into an accident. I know you don’t care but God is with me 24/7. Minor setback for a major comeback.” While he appears to maintain a positive outlook, the uncertainty surrounding who was driving adds another layer of complexity to the incident.

This isn’t the first time Emtee has faced scrutiny over driving incidents. The rapper has been involved in several accidents over the years, including a well-publicised incident in 2019. Sunday World reports that Emtee crashed two luxury German cars within two weeks and allegedly fled the scenes of these accidents.

In a video posted by Musa Khawula on X, Emtee is visibly stressed and speaking on the phone with security guards standing with him and the footage captures the chaotic aftermath of the crash, with the rapper appearing anxious.
