Emtee celebrates 10 years of sobriety

by Johana Mukandila

South African rapper Emtee marks 10 years of alcohol sobriety.

Taking to Twitter (now known as X), the Roll Up rapper, whose real name is Mthembeni Ndevu, celebrated the huge milestone in a heartwarming post, giving himself a pat on the shoulder for reaching this far in his sobriety journey.

The rap star went on to call alcoholic beverages the devil.

“Mane I’m proud of myself. 10 years sober from alcohol. That thing is the devil. Stoners be down to earth like a mf,” he wrote.
