Duduzile Zuma’s non-apologetic apology to Floyd? Internet users suspect a love affair turned sour

Just when we thought the whole Mkhonto Wesizwe saga was messy, Duduzile Zuma proved us wrong and issued an eyebrow-raising apology and has some internet users speculating that this is a classic case of a love affair gone terribly wrong, terribly fast.

The one-sided dispute between Duduzile and the party’s General Secretary Floyd Shivambu, which has seemingly divided the party, seemed to have come out of nowhere as Dudu was seen lashing out at her colleague. The party and its leader Jacob Zuma attempted to handle the matter swiftly by issuing a letter ordering Dudu to apologise not only to Floyd but to the structures she serves and leads as well.

Tapping into her petty persona, Duduzile issued a public apology that was addressed to everyone but the person she uttered some awful profanities to, thus failing to adhere to the orders given to her by her father and president. This cocky and arrogant move by Duduzile has caused a massive uproar as some call for her expulsion from the party, citing that letting this go will have serious repercussions for Msholozi’s regime.

What caused even more confusion and speculation was the fact that the letter was first posted by MK’s Member of the National Assembly Nhlamulo Ndlela. Members questioned why Nhlamulo posted the letter when Dudu herself had not.

After assessing the situation much more closely, some internet users have come out to express an interesting theory that involves a more than platonic relationship between Floyd and Duduzile. According to these users who had a light bulb moment, this would explain Duduzile’s erratic behaviour, crediting heartbreak.

I think Duduzile and Floyd had a thing that turned sour. The only explanation that makes sense

No I think they just broke up and he moved on. This wasn’t their first time breaking up either so she shoulda read the writing on the wall.

If proven to be true, this would have been the biggest mistake on the pair’s behalf, everybody knows firstly not to ever start anything remotely romantic or sexual with your colleagues, but secondly, never mix business with pleasure as it never ends well.
