Congratulations are in order to Dr Musa Mthombeni who has recently graduated from The Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) under the College of Diagnostics Radiologists of South Africa.
In late June of last year, the former YoTV presenter shared that he was “board certified” as a radiologist after passing his exams. Taking to Instagram, Musa wrote, “Liesl’s man is a specialist which means Liesl is now also a specialist – what a spectacular woman she is!”
In a separate post, pictured with radiology students, he wrote, “College exams are probably what hell feels it. Personally, I hate education and this series of exams reminded me just how much. Anyway, we succeeded by fire or by force and here we are. The Wits 2023 First Semester Radiology Class. We are ready to fix any radios you have now!”

Now, the doctor has posted pictures of himself in his royal blue gown to celebrate his achievement.
“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Welcome to graduation,” he captioned his post.

Musa’s comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages from his wife, friends and fans.
“It’s giving DOCTOR!!! It’s giving BUYING ME A NEW CAR,” wrote Miss South Africa 2015 Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni. “I am so proud of you my husband!”
Media personality Nandi Madida commented, “Congrats brother! Incredible.”
Friend to Musa, writer and producer Bonga Percy Vilakazi shared, “My friend, congratulations!! No, really: Congrats!! For the next hour, I’m giving you permission to ask me to buy you anything! But you have one hour to make this request!!”
