Don Mlangeni’s family denies rumours of estate disputes

by Sergio Miller

It has barely been a month since the passing of Isidingo actor Don Mlangeni, yet his family is already tasked with the tiring challenge of shutting down unnecessary rumours during their time of mourning.

A video recently took social media by storm, after it was alleged that the family of the late veteran actor had ongoing tensions surrounding the distribution of his estate.

This comes after a video uploaded by the online blogger, Maphepha Ndaba, has had many talking. This comes after the previously mentioned source shared a snippet of the clip, alleging that Don’s wife and family were involved in a physical altercation regarding his house, money, and other belongings.

“The police could not even control the dangerous family, who were also insulting everyone who tried to help. The fight has now escalated to a point where those around them are scared for their lives. The swearing is not stopping, with neighbours saying they hardly sleep because of the ongoing noise they make when fighting each other,” Maphepha Ndaba revealed in the caption of the post.

Without having the full details on the incident, many have since resorted to taking sides, with most claiming that the estate legally belongs to his wife.

Meanwhile, the family has since weighed in on the incident, claiming that the video aimed to spread false news.

According to the South African, the family shared a statement via Don’s Instagram story, where it was revealed that the particular incident took place in January prior to Don’s passing.

“This situation has nothing to do with Don Mlangeni Nawa nor his property,” they confirmed.
