Mzansi is still in shock upon hearing about the abrupt passing of legendary actor, Don Mlangeni-Nawa.

The family has not shared the cause of death, they revealed that they will share it later. However, another member of the family, veteran actor Mabutho ‘Kid’ Sithole, shared with Sunday World that he also does not know the cause of his death, but Don had been battling an illness for months.

“I do not know what the exact cause of his death was. He has not been well since August last year, he was struggling with some parts of his body and would experience stomach pains,” disclosed Kid.

Speaking to the above-mentioned publication, his wife, Regina Nawa, said the cause of death will be revealed later by the family.

The Nawa family confirmed Don’s death in a statement shared on social media. Taking to his Instagram page, the family revealed that the beloved thespian passed away on the 16th of April at the age of 65.

They remembered him as the heart of the family and a loving person.

“He was the heart of our family_ a loving father, brother and friend. To the world, he was a loved and respected actor whose presence lit up every screen and stage he graced. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the stories he told, and the love he gave so freely,” read the statement.
