Doja Cat’s mother files restraining order after the star’s teeth got knocked out

by Sergio Miller

It is alleged that the mother of South African pop singer Doja Cat filed for a temporary restraining order against Doja’s Brother Raman Dalithando Dlamini.

This comes after the 30-year-old was accused of physically attacking the singer whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini.

In the documents found by American tabloid publication TMZ, Doja’s mother Deborah Sawyer stated that her son has been both verbally and physically abusive towards his famous sister. A recent assault led to the singer losing some of her teeth.

Deborah added that this behaviour has led her daughter to feeling unsafe and traumatized.

She alleges that she too has been victim to these attacks and says the latest incident happened earlier this month.

TMZ reported that while a protection order was provided for Deborah, the judge confirmed that he is unable to do the same for Doja as she would have to do her own application for a restraining order.

Deborah meanwhile said that she previously had a restraining order against Doja, but it has since expired.

Doja is who has become a popular musician in the United States is the daughter of well-known South African actor Dumisani Dlamini.

Dumisani is most popular for his role is the movie Sarafina, alongside veteran actress Whoopi Goldberg.

In an interview, Doja once revealed that she ironically never met her father despite him being a well-known man.
