Doctor Khumalo and Lucas Radebe signal a strong bond

Soccer legend and former Kaizer Chiefs player Doctor Khumalo recently shared pictures with former Bafana Bafana and former UK based Leeds United player, Lucas Radebe, getting many social media users thinking of their years growing up.

Honouring the invite which he shared came from “His Excellency Sakaria KONE of Côte d´Ivoire in Afrique du Sud”, Dr Khumalo shared a post of appreciation.

The event boasted dignitaries from different countries, mentioning each person by name, doctor Khumalo captioned his post:

“A guest never forgets the host who treated him so kindly. Thank you, His Excellency Sakaria KONE Ambassador of Côte d´Ivoire in Afrique du Sud for your immense warmth towards us and inviting me to the launch of the Total Africa Cup of Nations to be held in Côte d´Ivoire in January 2024. To all ambassadors who were present thank you for your kindness and support.”

He went on to mention them by name adding:
“Her Excellency Ms Narjes Dridi, Tunisian Ambassador. Her Excellency Ms Ethel Davis, Liberia Ambassador. Her Excellency Ms Safiatou Ndiaye, Senegal Ambassador. His Excellency Mr Haruna Manta, High Commissioner of Nigeria. His Excellency Mr Ahmed Taher Elfadly, Egypt Ambassador.”

He concluded his post with a bit of humor adding that the Tunisian Ambassador was still upset from losing AFCON  to Bafana Bafana in 1996 on a score of 2-0.

“The Tunisian Ambassador was not the happiest ambassador I guess we all know why 😂?”
