DJ Zinhle’s ‘Unexpected’ leaves viewers looking forward to more episode

by Bongiwe Mati

Episode one of DJ Zinhle’s reality show “The Unexpected” aired on the BET’s channel 129, on 30th of September leaving viewers anticipating an interesting season and eager for a new episode.

The reality show which is on is its third season is centred around DJ Zinhle, her family and friends.

On the first episode of the reality show, Lynn Forbes who is late rapper AKA’s mother, shared with the Zinhle that she dreamt a joyful and playful AKA. She added that in the dream AKA later became serious asking for them to limit the time his daughter whom he shares with Zinhle, Kairo, is expose on social media and in public. This is after the Era Empire owner shared the same sentiments.

She also addressed how an international work trip led to a public backlash after a video of herself, Moozlie and international superstar Usher Raymond hanged out together.

After the first episode of the reality show viewers commented sharing:

Slow and heavy start to this season. The cast has been on hectic emotional journeys. AKA’s death. Moozlie’s breakup. Abuse from social media through the hard times. Such a humanity and vulnerable approach.
Looks like its tears from me this whole season.
