Fans of the multi-award winning South African musician DJ Zinhle can get themselves ready for an evening of fun, dancing and perhaps a throwback to some of her most popular tracks from the last two decades.
This year the proud mother to Kairo Forbes and Sante Mahosana will officially be celebrating 20 years in the music industry.
Taking to her Instagram page, the SAMA and Forbes Woman Africa Entertainer award winner shares that she will officially be hosting a concert to celebrate her milestone achievement.

The well-known musician has come a long way since her humbled beginnings breaking into the industry. Many people would recognise her as the DJ who gained the spotlight when she appeared in the popular youth show Jika Majika, followed by another TV gig in the form of the talent show called 1’s and 2’s on SABC 1.
In a previous interview with local news publication Mail & Guardian, Zinhle, real name Ntombezinhle Jiyane Mahosana explained that it was her older brother who first introduced her to the art of DJ.
“My brother Zakhele was a house DJ back in the day and he introduced me to the craft, I used to go with him to his gigs and just watch DJs play.”
“The one thing I picked up on was that there were very few females. That was my gap [to take].”
Thus far the gap she took expanded her territory and into the entrepreneurial realm by introducing her accessory line Era by DJ Zinhle as well as becoming the CEO of Boulevard Nectar Rose, a popular sparkling wine.
Meanwhile, the big event is set to place on the 9th of August at NASREC in Johannesburg.
