DJ Zinhle has paid tribute to her former partner and the father of her seven-tear-old daughter, South African rapper Kiernan Forbes, who was known by his stage name AKA.

The rapper was tragically shot and killed outside a club in Durban on Friday. DJ Zinhle was later spotted at his house to show her support to the grieving family.

She also decided to make a tribute to her former partner, showcasing the beautiful relationship that he had with their daughter, Kairo.

Zinhle shared a series of Instagram stories of AKA sharing laughs, cuddles and memories with Kairo, as well as two posts of him on his own. She also posted a reels video of AKA and Kairo dancing together.

According to News24, AKA and DJ Zinhle dated for months before going public with their relationship in 2014. Kairo was born a year later.

However, the pair had gone their separate ways during DJ Zinhle’s pregnancy.

Zinhle is now married to musician Murdah Bongz.

AKA was in a relationship with fellow rapper Nadia Nakai at the time of his death.
