South African DJ Zandi Ngwenya popularly known as DJ Zan-D gives advice to DJs having trouble finding gigs.

DJ Zan-D took to Twitter to provide a guideline to DJs who are currently having trouble landing gigs in the competitive industry of DJing.

Zan urged these DJs to keep practicing their craft and the right people will end up noticing them.

“Sometimes it takes longer for other people to make it, keep practicing and working on your craft so that by the time the right people see/hear you play you’re so hot they can’t ignore you,” he wrote.

Zan-D added that it is essential to make friends with other DJs and likeminded people who will be able to give them better connections in the industry.

“Make friends with other DJs and likeminded people especially people who have done it longer than you. It’s easier for those guys to plug you compared to people who are in the same level as you because you are all fighting for the same space.”

Make friends with other Djs and like minded people especially people who have done it longer than you. It’s easier for those guys to plug you compared to people who are in the same level as you because you are all fighting for the same space.
