South African born and international DJ/producer Ashley Raphala popularly known as DJ Shimza surprised his local community by donating pairs of school shoes in Tembisa, his hometown.

Shimza has always been big on charity and giving back to his community. Therefore, this act of kindness comes at no surprise from the DJ.

The 37 year old partnered up with Bathu and Hollywood foundation to make the perfect school shoes and kick off his charity-related goals.

The star took to his Instagram to announce his good deed saying that this was his contribution to the young ones, keeping them in school and giving them hope.

“Doing the little we can to keep the young ones in school, giving them hope to keep going. Shoes of Hope,” he wrote.
