Sabelo Mtshali, popularly known as DJ Sabby has expressed gratitude and excitement as he takes over Metro FM’s Breakfast show.
The DJ was formerly the Music Show, Top 40 host on Metro, but he will be replacing Mo Flava on the Breakfast show.
Taking to Instagram, Sabby confirmed the takeover, he expressed gratitude and the beauty of waiting on God’s timing.
“God’s time is the best time and if this is on God’s time. I’m BEYOND ready! Excited and honoured to be trusted with the biggest slot on SA English urban radio, the breakfast show on the mighty @metrofmsa. Words fail me but I know God has my back and my mama is smiling from the heavens sky,” he wrote.
The newly wed revealed his start date on his new show and promised his listeners the ‘Best Mornings’ between the hours of his breakfast show.
“I’m looking forward to starting the day with you as of the 3rd of April 2023. Your mornings are about to become your “Best Mornings” between 6-9am. Will introduce my full team to you soon. For now let me bask in this moment,” he added.

His now former show Music Show, Top 40 on Metro FM won an award in 2022 for the Best Music Show. Taking to his Instagram and said his followers should address him accordingly.
“Won my first @saradioawards ? for the #METROFMTop40. I’m officially an AWARD-WINNING Radio personality. Address me as such ???,” he wrote.
