DJ Nutty Nys joins 5FM to host Sunday sessions every Sunday from 18h00 to 21h00 from 5 February 2023.
The powerhouse DJ is excited about his new gig, and he is set to serve the audience more fun.
While speaking to 5FM the powerhouse said the following:
“I am super excited to join 5FM,” Nutty says, “The station is a key player in South African urban culture and lifestyle and I’m looking forward to being a part of it.”
Nutty says listeners should expect new music and everything music on the show.
“As one can expect from 5’s vibe, the show will be breaking fresh new music and artists, profiling labels and DJs, and chatting with iconic figures in the music space. It’ll also be connecting with niche music collectives, movements and societies around the country, because they are at the forefront of the edgy music lifestyle.”
Programme Manager Michael Bossenger stated that “Nutty brings a massive music punch and tons of personality to the station. As a station, we’re all about bringing the biggest, freshest hits and the coolest new artists first and he’s a perfect fit for that. We look forward to having his contagious energy on the airwaves and this show becoming a huge weekend highlight.”
According to 5FM the power house DJ is also a high-octane radio host, music pro and record label owner who started in campus radio and later moved to commercial youth radio, ultimately successfully heading up the music department.
