Did Maps and Shudu just go Instagram official?

There is widespread speculation that model and television presenter Maps Maponyane has officially lifted his net from the dating pool, this comes after the popular personality recently shared an Instagram post with a special somebody by his side.

The past weekend was yet another one of those occasions where the 34-year-old had the opportunity to shine. Maps was one of several other A-list celebrities who were in attendance at this year’s premium horse racing event – the Durban July.

The event was held at the Greyville Racecourse in Durban, KwaZulu Natal. With this year’s theme being “Ride the Wave,” many celebs dared to impress the public with some of the most beautiful and creative outfits. However, when it all mattered it was Mr Maponyane who walked away with the honours of Best Dressed Male for his turquois ensemble.

Taking to his official Instagram page, the businessman shared some pictures of the event along with the caption, pointing out the weekend’s highlight.

While his attire was a striking feature, it was the woman alongside him – and the encryptic video added to the post got the tongues of many people wagging.

This comes after the picture shows former Miss South Africa, Shudufhadzo Musida perfectly complimenting Maps in the picture. Maps later asked followers to slide the frame, where viewers were met by a cryptic message stating.

“You get it? If you don’t get it, forget about it.”

This sparked speculation with many believing that this was his way of announcing that he is officially off the market.

“We get it Maps, this is not about the outfits,” wrote one user.

Another added: “He gone ladies. I mean gone, gone, gonest.”

Later Maps, amused by the comments responded: “Relax! That’s not what this is about! (laughing emojis)”
